The three RWTH institutes Reuse in Architecture (architecture), Sustainability in Building Construction (civil engineering) and Antroprogenic Material Cycles (geo-resources and materials engineering) are dealing with controlled deconstruction in this ZukunftBau funded project.
The Chair of Controlling (RWTH) and Reuse in Architecture, as well as Moringa GmbH are investigating financial incentive systems for the value retention of building components. The Moringa Hamburg building is used as a case study.
Rezykliergerechtes Bauen works together with the FH Münster and the company ResScore on a method to determine the reuse potential of building components. The focus is on the components of the calculation, which is applied in a catalog of building components.
