PapKonSt- Constructive Strategies for cycle-oriented Facades made from Paper
In the scope of this dissertation the possibilities of the use of paper materials in façade construction are examined. The main focus is on maintaining the circulatory properties of the material and meeting the requirements for sustainable and energy-efficient construction methods. Common paper materials can already fulfil the functions of load-bearing, insulating and sealing. However, the vulnerability to moisture and fire is still a challenge for use in the building industry. For this reason, possible solutions are elaborated and discussed from an ecological point of view, both at material and component level.
