Mechanical Devices in the German Sustainable Building Council

The thesis deals with the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and examines the role of the mechanical installation in the certificate context. The work is divided into three part; First, green building certificates are presented, focused on the three relevant certificates BREEAM, LEED and DGNB. A second part deals with the parameters of the energy concept in the DGNB certificate and shows which criteria are affected by the mechanical installations. The last part includes variants of the importance of individual components filter out and analyses them. Finally, the integration of the energy concept and editing of profiles is displayed.
